NSF check collection and check recovery can be a burden on a merchants business. We simply recover NSF checks electronically for you and your customer doesn't have to receive an embarrassing phone call. Your customer will not have to bring in a money order or cash either. Because of the privacy legislation enacted several years ago, most banks are not releasing information of funds availability. This means that they may tell you if the account is open or closed but not if there is sufficient funds to cover the check. We started using "STRATEGIC SCHEDULING" when this happened and our collections have not suffered at all. We collect your returned checks while you maintain a good relationship with your customers. For items not eligible for RCK or that the electronic representment has failed, we use traditional NSF check collection methods. Our agreements are for merchants that receive at least three returned checks per month.
